Brian D. Roach
Founder, President & CEO

Brian D. Roach serves as President & Chief Executive Officer at Evolve Partners, Inc. and has overall responsibility for execution of the corporate strategy, marketing and portfolio development.

Over his 17 year information technology career, Mr. Roach has held various executive management and consulting positions with organizations ranging from State and Federal Government to the Fortune 500. His background includes deep experience in IT managed services, outsourcing, network and systems management, change and configuration management as well as technology infrastructure design and implementation. His thought leadership with these organizations has produced valuable results by dramatically cutting costs, improving customer satisfaction, and substantially improving internal processes and delivery of services.

Before starting Evolve, Mr. Roach was Chief Information Officer for the California Attorney General’s Office. The California Department of Justice is the largest law office in the United States employing over 7,000 people. Mr. Roach successfully implemented and managed a new case management system, systems management environment and led the organization’s desktop modernization/integration project across all 7 offices in California. Under his leadership the organization was able to stabilize an unmanaged infrastructure with centralized resources as well as modernize and upgrade the outdated systems authentication and directory services platform, providing a more centralized and managed technical support and systems administration environment.

After a successful technology consulting, engineering, and project management role with Fortune 100 technology distributor - Ingram Micro, Inc. (NYSE:IM), Mr. Roach left the company to join boutique legal consulting firm Baker Robbins & Company, now a subsidiary of Thompson Legal. After three years, he was then tapped to develop and incubate a new Information Security consulting practice for Getronics, a multi-national global outsourcing firm. At Getronics, he went on to develop the IT Business Strategy and Information Security Practices as well as develop new methodologies for performing Security and Vulnerability Assessments for financial services and government clients.

In addition to his tenure with both Getronics and Ingram Micro, Mr. Roach has worked with several information technology companies across the country in both technical consulting and executive management roles. Beyond his executive management responsibilities, Mr. Roach leads the company’s Regulatory Compliance and Strategic Technology Planning practice as its Principal Consultant.

Mr. Roach is a published author and educator. Most recently he published several articles in Small Business Technology Trends and Utility Computing and was a contributing author to Masters of Success ISBN 1-932156-79-8. He is currently persuing his Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and is an Adjunct Professor of Computer Information Systems at Golden Gate University in California. Mr. Roach’s professional affiliations include IEEE, HTCIA, and the Industrial Security Awareness Council (ISAC).

Tim Acker serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Evolve Partners, Inc. and has overall responsibility for sales, marketing, services delivery and corporate finance.

Over his 14 year information technology career, Mr. Acker has held various executive management and individual contributor positions with companies ranging from the Fortune 500 to smaller, early-stage companies. His background includes competencies in supplier management, procurement, e-Commerce, channel development, distribution/logistics, business process optimization as well as technology infrastructure design and implementation. His innovation and leadership with these companies have produced valuable results by dramatically cutting costs, improving customer satisfaction and substantially improving revenue growth; thereby more effectively positioning each in their respective markets.

Before joining Evolve, Mr. Acker was Vice President and General Manager for DR globalTech., a Digital River (NASDAQ:DRIV) company. Digital River is the world’s leader in outsourced e-Commerce solutions for retailers and manufacturers. Mr. Acker architected and successfully implemented the company’s new fulfillment, payment systems and risk management infrastructure as well as led the company’s expansion into Canada and 14 European countries. Under his leadership the company’s client base grew from 10 to over 120 in 6 different product verticals, with client revenues in excess of $900 million.

After a successful sales and business development role with Fortune 100 technology distributor - Ingram Micro, Inc. (NYSE:IM), Mr. Acker was asked to build and lead the operations team for a new, hyper-growth subsidiary of the company. After three years, the then $2 billion entity was successfully re-integrated with the parent company where many of Mr. Acker’s processes and methodologies were adopted. He went on to redesign the company’s order management, inventory allocation and new product launch strategies with responsibility for over $1.4 billion in annual sales.

In addition to his tenure with both DR globalTech and Ingram Micro, Mr. Acker has worked with several information technology companies in Southern California in both sales and operating roles. Beyond his executive management responsibilities, Mr. Acker leads Evolve’s CRM and e-Business practice as Principal Consultant.

Mr. Acker is also currently an advisor to Orange County, CA based ShowRights, Inc., a company which provides internet based services to studios, television content right holders and broadcasters around the world.
